Premier Oil’s Catcher development in the UK central North Sea has hit plateau production of 60,000 barrels per day of oil, writes Rob Watts.

Catcher started up late last year but output has been constrained on the BW Catcher floating production, storage and offloading vessel while commissioning work on gas export facilities takes place.

Chief executive Tony Durrant told Upstream this was expected to be completed shortly and would be followed by formal acceptance of the vessel from contractor BW Offshore.
