The CDM projects include the TTY Cambodia biogas project, a three-megawatt methane-fired power generation facility.
The project, to be implemented in Kampong Chang province, will capture methane emitted from waste-water. The gas will be used to replace heavy fuel oil as feedstock at the power plant.
This project will save 66,402 tonnes per annum of carbon dioxide equivalent, according to the Environment Ministry.
