CANADIAN Foresight Group (CFG) is the latest company to sign a production sharing contact with state-owned Myanma Oil & Gas Enterprise for acreage from the 2013 offshore licensing round, writes Amanda Battersby.
Subsidiary CFG Energy has formally acquired the 13,480 square kilometre shallow- water Block M-15, which is located directly south of and adjacent to Petronas’ producing Yetagun gas field.
CFG is wasting no time in reprocessing existing seismic data over Block M-15 and plans to carry out a 3D seismic survey after environmental and social impact assessments are completed.
