Paris-based CGG has completed a multi-client survey over the Gabon South basin, comprising 9800 kilometres of long-offset 2D seismic data.
This data will be fast-tracked into data sets for delivery by the end of this month.
The survey data will help companies assess acreage on offer in Gabon’s 12th offshore licensing round.
Supported by SpectrumGeo, Gabon's licensing exercise offers 12 shallow-water and 23 deep- and ultra-deep blocks, with bids due by 30 September.
