BP has invested $20 million in a company that is developing an ultra-fast charging battery that could one day enable electric vehicle charging in five minutes.
StoreDot, based in Israel, has developed a lithium ion “flash” battery technology that the company plans to offer to the mobile device market next year. The company is using the technology to develop the new ultra-fast charging electric car battery.
