Cheetah is a new arrival in PNG but has quickly built up a large exploration portfolio of five 100%-owned and operated petroleum prospecting licences and one petroleum retention licence of about 8.3 million acres in the country.
Its immediate exploration plans include the re-entering of the Kuru-2 well and drilling an offset location in the company's PRL 13 lease.
In addition, Cheetah will carry out various seismic surveys, and other geological and geophysical work over its remaining acreage.
