US independent Chesapeake Energy is targeting a 32% oil production boost this year amid plans for more drilling on newly-acquired assets.
Chesapeake posted production of 521,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day last year, compared with 548,000 boepd in 2017.
Oil production last year was 90,000 bpd, up 10% from 2017.
Aiming to continue its focus on increasing oil production, Chesapeake is targeting average oil production this year of between 116,000 bpd and 122,000 bpd.
