Chevron has again applied the brakes on the development of the Ubon wet gas project in the Gulf of Thailand off Thailand, writes Russell Searancke.
The US supermajor had been expected to move into a bidding phase by now for a sizeable offshore platform, but sources said the operator has postponed the bidding exercise until March or April next year.
