US supermajor Chevron has notified the UK Oil & Gas Authority (OGA) that it intends to apply for consent to develop its challenging deep-water Rosebank project on the Atlantic margin, writes Rob Watts.
The application will be subject to the revived project being approved by its owners, which, as well as operator Chevron, includes Suncor Energy and privately-held Siccar Point Energy, Chevron said in letter to the OGA.
