Design work has restarted on the Ubon wet gas project in the Gulf of Thailand after a period of hiatus as US supermajor operator Chevron seeks to lower the potential development costs.
Sources said the work is currently focused on the development concept, which has previously centred on a small central processing platform and a floating storage and offloading vessel.
