OneSubsea has won a contract to provide engineering and qualification for subsea equipment at Chevron's proposed Anchor field development in the deep-water US Gulf.

The deal represents a first-of-its kind subsea contract to tackle kit for deep-water reservoirs with pressures of up to 20,000 pounds per square inch.

Chevron confirmed, exclusively to Upstream, Schlumberger's award - hot on the heels of the announcement of a major 20-year subsea master service agreement between the two companies, which includes technology designed for challenging ultra-high temperature, high-pressure (HPHT) fields.
