Chevron is targeting the medium term for its next wave of deep-water projects in the US Gulf of Mexico, with the company's ramp-up in the Permian in focus over the near term, executives said on a conference call this week.
The Anchor project in the Gulf of Mexico is the only development for which the US supermajor put a timeline to paper in a presentation of major upstream projects, saying it would aim for first production in 2023 or later.
