Field co-owner Santos said its net entitlement to Chim Sao oil production in the quarter ended 31 March 2012 of 600,000 barrels was 11% lower than the previous quarter due to a “three-week unplanned shutdown of the Lewek Emas FPSO vessel for repairs to seawater pumps”.
A spokesperson for Premier confirmed the shutdown was caused by the failure of the sea-water lift pumps but this had been resolved and the FPSO was back operating again.
