Chinese yard CIMC Raffles has just signed an engineering, procurement and construction contract with UK supermajor BP for provision of a jack-up accommodation and utilities platform for developing its Tortue-Ahmeyim floating liquefied natural gas project off Mauritania and Senegal, writes Xu Yihe.
Sources said that the contract is based on CIMC’ s earlier agreement with BP to conduct the front-end engineering and design for the project, which is based on the Agosto 12 design.
