Mexico’s oil regulator has in recent weeks approved a handful of new wells to be drilled by the country’s new operators.
Italy’s Eni was granted approval by Mexico's National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH) to go ahead with its Mizton 2DEL delineation probe in contractual area 1, while Pan American Energy has been authorised to drill a fifth well, Hokchi 6DEL, at the Hokchi field in contractual Area 2.
