Mexico’s National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH) has approved a development plan by state oil company Pemex covering production from the key onshore Ixachi field, writes Kathrine Schmidt.
Bringing that discovery to production has been designated as one of the priority projects of President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s administration, which is making a major push to boost the country’s declining production curve.
