China's CNOOC Ltd has delayed the subsea production system tender for its Lufeng 22-1 oilfield complex redevelopment in the South China Sea after deciding to expand the workscope.
Industry officials said CNOOC Ltd only recently launched a new round of pre-qualification covering the provision of power and control umbilicals in the SPS and pump package.
As a result, the SPS tender is being postponed from May to July or even August.
