Chinese operator CNOOC Ltd is to retender a contract for front-end engineering and design services at its Kingfisher oilfield in Uganda in a third attempt to seek a contractor for the job.
French engineering giant Technip submitted the lowest bid in CNOOC’s last tender for the work, but its offer did not cover the entire scope as required by CNOOC Ltd, industry officials said.
