CNOOC International has recommended a consortium of China’s Offshore Oil Engineering Company (COOEC) and China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Company (CPECC) be awarded an engineering, procurement and construction contract for its Kingfisher project in Uganda, writes Xu Yihe.
Industry sources said the recommendation is now being reviewed by Uganda's government and project partner Total.
If this recommendation is approved, sources said China's state-owned CNOOC will award a contract to COOEC-CPECC.
