COBALT International Energy has brought in engineering houses to help it kick-start concept planning for the development of its large deep-water North Platte discovery in the US Gulf of Mexico.
The US independent has enlisted contractor Granherne to begin the evaluation, likely to run until later in the summer.
France’s Doris Engineering has also had a role in recent months, they added.
