Mexico’s energy policy under President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador continues to look more inward, showing a sceptical attitude towards outside input, new ideas and collaboration with international players.
That is a shame, since engaging outwardly and working collaboratively could help immensely in delivering the 2.6 million barrels per day of oil production the administration is targeting by the end of Lopez Obrador's six-year term.
