Sri Lanka is expediting its efforts to resume oil and gas exploration and plans to launch a tender process later this month for the M2 deep-water block in the Mannar basin, writes Nishant Ugal.
Petroleum Resources Minister Arjuna Ranatunga says commercialising the M2 block is among the top priorities for the ministry and the government is taking several measures to make the offering more attractive to investors.
