Contractors involved in a twin tender for a pair of giant Petrobras floating production, storage and offloading vessels are scratching their heads after the Brazilian oil giant called for commercial bids for both Libra and Sepia to be presented afresh this month.
Japan’s Modec International, Dutch pair SBM Offshore and Bluewater and Norway’s BW Offshore submitted bids for the Libra FPSO back in April, while Modec, SBM and Bluewater also presented offers for the Sepia floater on the same date.
