The company has filed a proposed terms of reference covering the potential expansion of its two steam- assisted gravity drainage projects in the Athabasca oil sands - from a combined design capacity of 20,000 barrels per day of bitumen to about 44,000 bpd.
The proposed terms of reference for the project were filed with Alberta Environment this week. It is the first step in the process of submitting an environmental impact assessment.
