ConocoPhillips is planning to further appraise emerging shale plays in Colombia and Chile as part of a spending plan that focuses on the US independent’s vast unconventional portfolio.
The Houston-based operator is planning a well test at its Picoplata-1 well in Colombia either late this year or early next year, according to a presentation released as part of the company’s latest analyst day.
