US independent Continental Resources boosted oil production by 25% to 157,000 barrels per day in the second quarter of this year versus the same period of 2017.
The Oklahoma-based producer reported total output over the period of 25.8 million barrels of oil equivalent or an average of 284,059 boepd.
It said that figure would have been higher except for “abnormally wet weather” in the Bakken formation in North Dakota.
