China's Offshore Oil Engineering Company (COOEC) is in the market for a contractor to help install risers for the Lingshui 17-2 deep-water gas field in the Qiongdongnan basin of the South China Sea, writes Xu Yihe.
The Tianjin-based contractor has approached a number of international offshore engineering, procurement and construction players about installation of the steel catenary risers (SCR) that will link to the project's deep-water semi-submersible production platform, sources said.
