China's leading offshore service contractor Offshore Oil Engineering Company (COOEC) has signed a letter of intent with PT Energi Dian Kemala (EDK) to provide financing, engineering, procurement and construction services for a liquefied natural gas import terminal in Indonesia, writes Xu Yihe.
Located at the port of Merak in the Pulo Merak subdistrict of Cilegon, Banten, on the northwestern tip of Java, the terminal will have an initial import capacity of 2 million tonnes per annum.
