Corallian Energy and its partners have approved spending on a planned appraisal well at the Colter discovery off southern England that they plan to drill later this year.
The controversial probe is scheduled for drilling in the fourth quarter in shallow waters about seven kilometres south of the seaside town of Bournemouth using a chartered jack-up.
