It is understood that the Technip-led joint venture, which remains the only contractor still in contention for the engineering, procurement, installation and construction (Epic) job has come up with a price tens of millions of dollars higher than the operator's own estimate.

The facilities that make up the Epic contract include a central production platform (CPP) for Kerisi capable of handling 60,000 barrels of liquids and 170 million cubic feet of gas per day, a wellhead platform for Kerisi to be bridge-linked to the CPP and a minimum facilities platform for Hiu.

Subsea
