The court appointed a receiver to collect revenues from the concession in payment of the judgment debts of more than $55 million owed by the company to Palestinian businessman Munib Masri.
The ruling is unlikely to be binding in Yemen, meaning CCC is not under any immediate pressure to pay. CCC is appealing the order, sources said.
"The company is appealing. The court has no jurisdiction in Yemen anyway.
