Malaysian national oil company Petronas and joint venture partner Shell have revived plans to install a central processing platform as part of the near-term development of the Bokor enhanced oil recovery project off Sarawak, Malaysia.
The big platform was part of the original concept for this phase of Bokor, but towards the end of last year Petronas sent signals to the market that the fixed platform would be held back while the focus turned to tendering for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of several wellhead platforms.
