Of the three rigs, contracts covering two of them have been offered to Dalian Shipbuilding Offshore Company (DSOC). The other has gone to Liaohe Petroleum Equipment Company (CPLEC). Both companies own fabrication yards located in northeastern China’s Liaoning province.
The three DSJ300 rigs, which have been designed by DSOC, are able to work in water depths of up to 300 feet.
