The recent deal increases Crescent Point’s ownership of Arcan by 8 million common shares, representing 9% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the junior.
Crescent Point now has ownership and control over 19% of the company. This strategy is on par with Crescent Point’s efforts to increase its holdings in central Alberta and the Beaverhill Lake light oil resource play.
