US crude production showed further strength in April, breaking several new records including surpassing an overall production rate of 12 million barrels per day for the first time, writes Julia Martinez.
The production record of 12.2 million bpd came less than a year after US crude output exceeded 11 million bpd in August 2018, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in a report this week.
