One of Shell’s joint venture partners in the Crux gas and condensate project off Western Australia has highlighted the sense of urgency being brought to the development, writes Russell Searancke.

Shell owns a large 82% operator interest in the field with Seven Group Holdings on 15% and Osaka Gas on 3%.

A bidding contest for the front-end engineering and design phase recently began, with global engineering giants such as Fluor, KBR, TechnipFMC, WorleyParsons and Wood among the contenders.
