Shale gas explorer Cuadrilla Resources has resumed hydraulic fracturing operations at its flagship site in northern England as the UK government gave its backing for the controversial technique, writes Anamaria Deduleasa.
Cuadrilla resumed fracking in Lancashire, at its Preston New Road site, after securing all the required permits and permissions to fracture up to 45 stages on its second horizontal well.
