UK shale gas explorer Cuadrilla Resources has been given permission to drill a second well at its flagship site in northern England.
The Oil & Gas Authority (OGA) agreed this week Cuadrilla’s fracking plan for the PNR2 well at Preston New Road.
The permit is part of the OGA’s approval of a well completion proposal that includes fracking operations and a one-year consent for the flaring of gas.
