Production is set to build to a peak of 45,000 barrels of oil per day and 100 million cubic feet per day of gas. Field life is estimated at eight years. Oil will be exported via shuttle tanker with gas sent through the existing Fulmar pipeline to the St Fergus terminal in Scotland. Shell said Curlew was the third of five new field developments to be brought on stream by the company in the central North Sea this year, following Kingfisher and Gannet F.
