Mexican regulators are expecting to consider approval of development plans submitted by Italian operator Eni and Argentina’s Pan American Energy for their respective Amoca and Hokchi offshore developments as soon as the end of March, writes Kathrine Schmidt.
Both operators have been successful in exploration in areas won in Round 1.2, designed to produce from the existing finds by state oil company Pemex and submitted plans to advance development in December to Mexico’s National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH).
