Fresh from clinching an FLNG evaluation agreement with Noble Energy, operator of the 17 trillion cubic-foot Leviathan and 9 Tcf Tamar discoveries, Daewoo, through its ENR subsidiary, has signed a feasibility studies deal with Israel Land Development Energy covering the undrilled Myra and Sarah licences. In a filing on Tel Aviv’s stock exchange, operator ILDC-Energy, a subsidiary of Israel Land Development Company (ILOC), said a floating facility able to handle about 3 million tonnes per annum will be investigated, although gas has yet to be discovered at Myra and Sarah.
