ConocoPhillips has made it clear that an ongoing study on a potential expansion train at its Darwin LNG facility in northern Australia is being pushed more by third-party gas owners, writes Russell Searancke.
ConocoPhillips and the joint venture owners of the Evans Shoal, Caldita-Barossa, Poseidon, Cash-Maple and Petrel-Tern discoveries recently committed to the feasibility study, which the Northern Territory government is also contributing funds to.
