Anglo-Dutch supermajor Shell has chosen a wet gas subsea compression concept being developed by Houston-based OneSubsea for the phase three development of its Ormen Lange deep-water gas field in the Norwegian Sea off Norway, writes Anamaria Deduleasa.

Shell and its partners in the Ormen Lange licence opted for subsea compression as the development concept for the field earlier this year, aiming to increase gas recovery in this latest phase of development.
