The flare tower will be installed on a jackup-based production system that SBM will build and operate for the Calgary-based operator. It was the final key contract to be placed for the production platform.
A major contract for fabrication of the hull and most of the topsides was let to Gulf Piping Company in Abu Dhabi with Al Masaood Bergum and Hertel in Dubai building the accommodation unit.
