KENYA has successfully delayed hearings before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) concerning its maritime boundary dispute with Somalia over a wedge of potentially oil-rich acreage that both states have recently sought to licence.
Previously scheduled to sit this week to hear depositions, the court agreed to postpone proceedings until 4 November, ostensibly because Kenya insisted on more time to recruit a new legal defence team.
