Polish pipeline operator Gaz-System and its Danish counterpart Energinet have signed an agreement to build a gas pipeline between the two countries.
Gaz-System said the Baltic Pipe will transport Norwegian gas to Poland and other countries in the region and allow for reverse flows from Poland to Denmark and Sweden.
The project comprises 900 kilometres of offshore and onshore gas pipelines, with first gas due to flow by October 2022.
