US private equity player Kimmeridge Energy Management has entered into an agreement to combine with a mineral and royalty company focused on the Delaware sub-basin of the prolific Permian basin, writes Julia Martinez.
Kimmeridge is set to combine with Desert Royalty Company to form Desert Peak Minerals, a new outfit that the firm said would be "the largest pure-play mineral and royalty company in the Delaware basin by net royalty acres".
