Det Norske chief executive Karl Johnny Hersvik said the project in the North Sea’s Utsira High region is on schedule to deliver first oil in 2016.
“The engineering is now close to complete... Most of the main pieces and the sub-equipment have arrived in Singapore, and the construction itself is now roughly 50% complete,” Hersvik told investors at a briefing hosted by 50% owner Aker in London on Monday.
