Rig owner Diamond Offshore slipped to a larger loss in the second quarter.
The Houston-based player posted a loss of $113.99 million in the three months to the end of June as compared with a loss of $69.27 million a year earlier.
Revenues dropped to $216.71 million from $268.86 million a year ago’
Diamond said its order backlog as at 1 July stood at $2 billion, including more than $450 million secured year-to-date but excluding around $130 million of a margin commitment from a customer.
