BP was aiming to complete disconnection of the FPSO by about September or October and then carry out minor modifications at Keppel Verolme shipyard in the Netherlands in preparation for a sale however, BP said this week: “There is a possibility that the Schiehallion FPSO will remain offshore in its current location over the winter and that the full disconnection of the vessel will be deferred to 2014.”
